2008 is fast coming to a close! By far the best year yet for our studio and I just feel blessed to be able to do what we do.
It's busy holiday time and we'll be on vacation so every other day we'll release a blog post on timer. Like having your lights come on at your house when you're away every night so the burglars don't come knockin'! We don't have time to really write about each post, so maybe if we do have time we'll be able to fill out some info. But for now, just sit back and relax, the images cometh!

when richard and esther first came to us they had a vision. they wanted to have wedding pictures done in bali. well who doesn't want pictures on the other side of the planet in an exotic island locale? i do. taking pictures in places named nusa dua, jimbaran, kuta and ubud is uber cool. much cooler than the bowl cut i sported back in elementary school.
so they had their wedding ceremony in sf and then flew us over to bali to join them on their honeymoon. i know what you're thinking, "interrupting the honeymoon, that's sacrilegious!" aren't you supposed to just relax on your honeymoon? well, how can you not! hanging out with me and ingrid is so fun that no honeymoon is complete without us. i can write so many reasons why you should have us follow you on your honeymoon, but i guess i'll just let the pics take you to school on that.

esther + richard | carnelian room | san francisco
it's times like these that i really really love san francisco. as photographers we're heavily affected by light in all shapes, intensities, propensities, dispensities, bear necessities, well you get it. we live and die by light. the painter has his brush with various choices in color palates. we on the other hand are essentially at the mercy of lord photon and his fiery light waves. that's why we love san francisco, because at any moment she drops in to say, "hello my lovlies, let me drop kick you in the face with some totally rad nasty light!" am i making any sense? i'm realizing that esther and richards' parents need to understand what i'm writing here.
thank you, richard and esther, for loving photography with a passion and having us be a part of a very very wonderful wedding ceremony in the beautiful city of san francisco. you guys are beyond super cool and generous human beings. i hope we made your day a little bit brighter with some pretty pictures.
