teresa + joe | mission district | san francisco | engagement shoot

i won't be able to shoot teresa and joe's wedding next year so they hired me to just shoot their engagement session. it's always sad to shoot such a fun session with a totally hip and awesome couple only to know that it's just a quick fling.

wishing you guys all the best!

ten points to the person who figures out how i got her hair to do magic tricks!

love this series.

awesome stuff you two! i love the last 3 photos. uh lessee here, i will say one of you stood off to the side and kinda tossed the hair up while the other was locked on with focus already and fired away. :)

so, dustin was the closest to guessing it right! it was actually joe who flipped the hair up while i stood there and snapped away. kudos to you!

liz, i was shooting with the 50mm at 1.2f wide open. i'm not near the picture file, but i'm guessing that i'm at a lower iso of about 200 or maybe as high as 400. shutter speed is at least 320 to be able to stop motion on the hair. but i wouldn't be surprised if the shutter is above 1000.

i'll check again later when i'm near our production computer.
