teresa + joe | mission district | san francisco | engagement shoot
i won't be able to shoot teresa and joe's wedding next year so they hired me to just shoot their engagement session. it's always sad to shoot such a fun session with a totally hip and awesome couple only to know that it's just a quick fling.
wishing you guys all the best!
ten points to the person who figures out how i got her hair to do magic tricks!
love this series.

oooh the first picture's so MOODY!
and the second one, love the mirror...
a guess- did you use a blow dryer? or a fan? haha~
i love the cartoon background (8th0. also the play on the traditional day-at-the-beach photo shoot.
awesome stuff you two! i love the last 3 photos. uh lessee here, i will say one of you stood off to the side and kinda tossed the hair up while the other was locked on with focus already and fired away. :)
It looks like she is jumping and you hold up your camera still. i hope l'm right. nice shots! keep it up.
looovvveee the first shot!
mmm...is there some kind of vent behind her?
THANKS,Jerry ...You captured our joyful and silly moments with big launghing. =D
i love that series too. do tell...what settings were you at?
so, dustin was the closest to guessing it right! it was actually joe who flipped the hair up while i stood there and snapped away. kudos to you!
liz, i was shooting with the 50mm at 1.2f wide open. i'm not near the picture file, but i'm guessing that i'm at a lower iso of about 200 or maybe as high as 400. shutter speed is at least 320 to be able to stop motion on the hair. but i wouldn't be surprised if the shutter is above 1000.
i'll check again later when i'm near our production computer.
