sharine + zack | carmel | beach | engagement

sharine and zack's session was so fun to do.  we went to carmel and there was no end to the number of cool walls, unique storefronts and dramatic backdrops.  we wanted to catch the sunset for this session and were watching the clouds all day long.  when we started shooting the sunset it was like the heavens were closing their garage door for the night.  the dark clouds were coming down on the horizon like a heavy blanket.  made for some really nice shots.  i brought my off camera flash setup to mix things up and we ended up getting some really killer shots.

can't wait for their wedding in may when we get to shoot at a huge house up in santa cruz!

OMG! All the photography is the adorable. How beautifully they celebrate their engagement on the beach. And how gradually they spend their whole day from morning to the night in the beach. The idea is good one and all the pictures are so great and they are looking beautiful.

i realize one of the things i LOVE about your shoots is how you dont capture the same facial expressions over and over again. i love how each picture captures a different part of their relationship or personality... serious, fun, whimsical, moody, drama, whatever!
