Princeton Chapel | Nassau Inn | Destination Wedding Photography | Marissa + James

Marissa and I go way back. I can't count the number of times we pulled all-nighters together to finish our AP US History essays for our favorite high-school teacher, Mr. Doyle. We were hard-core study buddies and I could always count on her to be up at 2am to answer a question that I had. So it was a no brainer for me to want to shoot her wedding on the Princeton Campus. I've never been to New Jersey or visited an ivy league school, so it was an exciting trip.

The best part of it was the mini-reunion that I had with my high-school friends. It was also an added bonus that I got to see Marissa's family again, because I spent so many days at their house during our crazy study sessions. I had heard a lot about James through Marissa and her sister, Annie, so it was good to finally put a face to the name. His family was also so sweet to us and treated us so well. I loved every minute of my trip out there and can't wait to go back to the East Coast to visit everyone again.

Annie, Marissa's sister, was the greatest help through the whole day.

Marissa's dad was pretty cute walking around with his Binaca and "HD!" video camera all day.

The Princeton Chapel is the biggest chapel we've ever shot at.

Marissa's mom waiting in anticipation.

Marissa used to dance, so this was her favorite part of the day.

We found a random mirror in one room at the Nassau Inn and lit her with a small video light.

One of the most essential elements of a wedding is the photography. This element preserves the memory of the couple's special day forever. Wedding photos record every detail of that day beginning with pre-wedding preparation, ceremony, reception, and the couple's send-off.
