Jessica
Jerry loves to meet people everywhere he goes. At one of the local hair salons, he met Tiffany, an amazing artist with hair and fashion. We were intrigued with her very cool style. Together, we decided to set up a creative shoot with Jessica, a model and actress in local theater.
This was an excellent opportunity to try out tons of new looks in crazy out-of-the-box places. I never expected to be in downtown Oakland holding a flash over Jessica as she lay on a railway that ran under a freeway over pass, while nervously squinting over the deploying flash for approaching trains. Interesting times, but it was completely worth it!!!! The shots are not of the traditional wedding variety but we were so excited about them so we'd like to share them with you.
We were also able to hit the Oakland Amtrack station and a small bar in the Temescal district in Oakland that had interesting lighting.
These are some of our favorites!

i absolutely love this shoot!! my favorite shot is the 3rd one with the smoke, but i pretty much love them all. love the posing, great use of off-camera flash....all very edgy! what a cool bar! they were cool with you shooting in there?
yeah, they didn't mind us shooting there. i don't think they even really noticed. they were too busy getting drunk and making money! it was good times.
The second to last shot reminds me of Pat Benetar in the Love is a Battlefield video! Great stuff.
