elizabeth + brendan | david girard vineyards | placerville | sacramento | wedding
This blog is as much for you guys as it is for us. When I'm sixty years old, I'll be able to look back at the blog and remember how I spent all my saturdays in the year. How many people can say that! There's so much that happens behind the scenes that I don't want to forget.
Behind the scenes: while the guys were getting ready at Brendan's parents place, I remember running into a ladder that led into a huge hole in the ceiling. The air conditioning guys were up there working, of all days! Yes, I took pictures of them of course, but they weren't pretty enough to post on the blog. I also remember sitting down with Elizabeth's uncles and eating like five bagels with cream cheese and homemade preserves. I definitely didn't feel a lack of energy that day.
I used to work with Brendan and Elizabeth at Cal when we were doing software training. It was something special to be able to come this far with them in their journey together and to have met their families. So much to say about this wedding, but I'll keep it short. It was a beautiful day.

Oh Jerry... So sad to have missed this wedding but very happy to get a little glimpse from your and Ingrid's photos. Thank you! Oh, the old days.... sigh. :)
I LOVE the picture with the minister so serious in the background and your daughter and son-in-law cracking up! Also, the flowers are GORGEOUS!!! What a great photographer! Oh, the other picture I REALLY liked was the one that showed your daughter's dress with all the buttons going down the back. Wow! Thank you SO much for sharing them with me.
