alice + steve | boston | engagement
We've been so swamped with work as the busy summer wedding season kicks into full swing. That means our blog is feeling a little neglected right now. But we've got some fun shoots lined up for you all.
Steve and Alice were gracious enough to host us at their place in Boston for their engagement shoot. We got an up and close personal view into their lives. Steve is doing his residences as a doctor while Alice gets to play scientist all day at work. I think they enjoyed their time off from their intense work life to go out and play with us.

Thank you for taking these gorrrgeous photos of Alice and Steve, Steve and Alice... you've captured their joyfulness, caring, and love. And the light! The light is beautiful...
I was so excited to see these stunning photos. They're absolutely beautiful!
Oh My God. The texture of that building is positively glorious. Yum.
Great photos! I love the use of natural light, especially in the image of the two running along the path.
Indeed, we enjoyed our time off and spent with you SO very much...we LOVE you, J+Y, and we LOVE these pictures! Thanks for risking broken limbs (and disdain from residents) on that treacherous fire escape, falling into big puddles (ok that was me), getting hit by a subway train and so much more, for these incredible photos... Steve is thrilled with how cleverly his athletic prowess is portrayed (he had a running start on me right?). The runner/bicyclist/ambiguous picture on the Mass.Ave bridge is so awesome - what a surprise. I could go on and on... Can't wait to see you again soon, and more of your fun & beautiful posts!!!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention the homeless people in the muddy reeds. Such fearless visionaries, you two are! :)
fire escape... the angles!
and the puddle. its so clear!
LOVE these!
you guys should shoot in boston more often...
lots and lots of creative juices, hehe!
Terrific! Great work. I'm proud.
and continued to be impressed :)
love all of this!
I've been following your blog for a while and love your photography. I'm from Boston, but have family in SF and NYC! It's so nice to see you take photos in my home town. Was the reeds photo taken in the Fens? Keep up the great work.
