Garden of the Gods | Colorado Springs | Wedding | Ann + Mike
Photography by Ingrid and Jerry
We haven't posted a wedding shoot in a while, so here's one that we shot in Colorado Springs. I'm not sure what was in the ice cones, but everyone had such a great time. We even had to censor a couple shots, because of their wild nature. Enjoy some of their highlights!
After all the snowball fights I incited, I had to let them take shots at me. They got me good.
This DJ was awesome. He really got into the songs and pumped everyone up. I've never seen a DJ go the extra mile like this.

Los Angeles County Museum of Art Engagement | Hollywood Hills | Jenny + Tyler
Photography by Jerry
Jenny and Tyler are super people. Super energy. Super talent. I love the positive vibe that just oozes from them. Jenny is an aspiring actress with a dessert blog that's starting to take off called Dessert Darling. Tyler is managing several music careers, while marketing and promoting tons of indie bands at Blue Mic. And Charlie, their dog/child, is something special.
The shot above is for her Dessert Darling blog that we quickly did in her backyard. Just as I was taking the last shot, the sprinklers came on and drenched everything. I managed to eat two cupcakes before though, so all was good.

San Francisco Engagement Photography | Eugenia + Michael

The theme for this first part was from Lost. Except we didn't have the airplane and debris strewn about. It took a while to find a spot like this for their engagement photos, so we literally were kinda lost in San Francisco.
This is for Michael's future political campaign as New York city Mayor. Or at least I hope he runs.

Best Wedding Photographer Award | East Bay Express
We just found out through our friend David on facebook that we got awarded the Best Wedding Photographer in the East Bay by East Bay Express! They haven't sent us an email yet, but we're pretty surprised, because we didn't even know about this at all. I don't even know how we got picked either, so it's definitely a pleasant surprise. I don't think this is a normal category, so it's pretty cool to see wedding photography even considered in this best of list.
I guess this award is really only possible, because of all the wonderful people who support us on this blog and all our clients who trust us to do our best on every shoot. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of shooting with Blake and all of us had a lot of fun on this shoot. The lighting, the mood, and the fun couple made for a shoot that was almost effortless!
